Obituary

Michael M. Chapin Jr, 70, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday Dec 12,2021. Born July 5th, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio. He was a Graduate of Upper Arlington High School Class of 1969. Following graduation, he Attended Franklin University. He was employed by marble cliff quarry co. where he worked alongside his father. He also owed a bar with his uncle Eddie on High St in Columbus; Ohio called Sandbar. He went to work for the Upper Arlington School District where he retired after 25 years of service. After retirement he relocated to Port Clinton, Ohio where he spent his days fishing and hanging out with his MC family, LRFFLR, SYLO. He always looked forward to the Chapin family fishing trip every year. He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael Sr and Stella Lombardi Chapin, brother Ricky Chapin and sister Beanie Gentile. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Evelyn Chapin, children, Christopher (Kim) Chapin, Michael Chapin III, Richard (Erika) Chapin, grandchildren Chrysta (Zachary) Stewart, Megan Chapin, JoJo Chapin, Violet Chapin, great grandson coming April 2022, sister Roselena Chapin and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 22nd, 2021, from 3-7 pm at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME 1177 W FIFTH AVE.
