Obituary
Michele "Mike" Mascherino, born 12/28/1927 Introdacqua, Italy, passed peacefully at home on 5/23/2021. Preceded in death by parents Dominico and Maria Mascherino, infant daughter, Tina and son, Dean "Dino" Mascherino, brother Nicola; sisters, Virginia and Bambina; mother and father-in-law Christine and Fred LaZarrus. Survived by loving wife of 67 years Barbara, daughter Marisa (Jim) Dennis; grandchildren Michael (girlfriend Markee Osborne) Dennis, Laura (Clint) Keenan; great-grandchildren, Elie and Rocco Keenan; Numerous nieces and nephews. Mike was a Founder and President of Mascherino Builders. He was a Past recipient of the BIA Craftsman of the Year and Past President of the SFI and Aurora Club. Mike was also a member of GAC. He was an avid gardener and winemaker. He was very proud of his Italian heritage and his family - especially Sunday dinners with family. His greatest joy was spending time with his great-grandchildren Elie and Rocco. Family will receive friends Thursday, May 27, 2021, FROM 4-8 P.M. at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West 5th Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43212. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am, Friday May 28, 2021 at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 9571 North High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio. Entombment to follow. FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT THE CHAPEL FOR HIS FUNERAL MASS. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Mike's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com
