Bonnie (West) Agriesti, age 78 of Westerville passed away peacefully with family at her side on May 14, 2021. Born August 16, 1942 in Columbus. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Charlie Agriesti, parents; Patricia Chandler and Richard West; father-in-law, Carmine (Rocky) Agriesti; mothers-in-law, Rose (Penzone) Agriesti and Faustina Agriesti; brothers-in-law, John Agriesti and Joseph Agriesti; Sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Agriesti, Delores DiSabato, Joyce Agriesti and Petrina Agriesti. Bonnie is survived by her daughters ;Maria (Agriesti) O'Connell, and Teresa (Agriesti) Metcalf; her grandchildren, Carmen O'Connell, Brendan O'Connell, Alex Metcalf, and Joseph Metcalf; Sister, Sally (Patrick) Melragon; brother-in-law, Anthony M. Agriesti and many nieces and nephews; extended family, Michele (Joe) Ciminello, Tina (Dave) Cook and Toni (Michael) Ream.
Bonnie was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church; member of SS Peter & Paul Guild, Leader of the Bereavement Committee, Leader of the St Joseph's Dinner; the Italian Festival, and OSU Buckeyes football pool. She graduated in 1960 from Upper Arlington High School and worked at the Metropolitan Insurance Company as a Claims Adjuster. Bonnie was devoted to her family and friends and always gave of herself unselfishly to others. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church, 720 Hamlet Street, Columbus, Ohio. Rev. Fr. William Metzger Presiding and will be assisted by Deacon Frank Iannarino. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137.
