Condolences For John Vincent Terango

To : The family of John Terango Date : Friday, April 23rd 2021
From : Howard Maier
Dear family members,

Please accept my deepest condolences. John was smart, practical, and fun to be with. As a willing teacher, he was always happy to offer advice, guidance, and support. In short, I admired him greatly.

I had the pleasure of working with John when we were both employed by the City of Cleveland Heights. He was well-respected by his fellow employees, the residents, and the city council.

I hope you find comfort in his memory.

Beth and Amy,
My sincere sympathy to both of you on the passing of your father, John. I will pray for both you and John's soul. You can treasure your father's love for you and for his achievements in this world. I remember him for his work in Euclid and the Cleveland area. He was fine person and achieved much for his family and the community. May God rest his soul and may you two be comforted in your loss.

I taught figure skating at the Clifford E Orr Arena in Euclid, Ohio during the early 60’s. John was the manager of the rink and he was wonderful to work with in developing skating programs. My deepest condolences to the family.

John was my next door neighbor in Stonewood and a childhood friend of mine. We attended Norwood Junior High School and Roosevelt Wilson High School together. I am sorry for your loss and will keep you and John in my prayers.

May God comfort each one of you in your loss. I never met John but saw his genuine character and love for others that he passed on to his daughter Amy, whom I have known for many years. In your loss may you be comforted knowing that he made a difference and touched many lives in the community that he served. His work built a legacy of love that will be remembered for years to come.
Prayers and Blessings, Diana Gibbs

What a man! Please accept our deepest sympathies over your loss.
Thanks to John, I have had a lifelong connection to public transit. His vision and love of the industry and those it served was rightly recognized.
And his love of life, people and most importantly his family was touching and infectious. There will never be a 4 th of July celebration in UA that will come close to John and Joanne’s. They created remarkable memories for which we are so grateful.
You are all in Paul and my prayers.

Amy and Beth: Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. From my perspective, your Dad was such a solid Father, a consummate professional and humble about his career achievements. I enjoyed attending a couple Browns games with you and your Dad in the 80's and having lots of great conversations at your kitchen table. May he rest in peace.
