Bob and family,

I am sorry for your loss. I will always have happy memories of Norma making us cheesy hot dogs after we came home from swimming.

I also happily remember the family huddled in your living room while watching "Ruth Lyons" and "Julia Child, the French Chef," in her early days on Columbus' channel 34. Norman in the corner, and Norma and Ms. Bove on the sofa.

Every time that I return to Columbus from California I go by the Ashland Avenue houses and reminisce.

I just thought of another thing: our endless games of Monopoly on your living room floor.

I remember Norma as a peacemaker and calming influence, presiding over a very boisterous household.

With love, Bobby

You are in our prayers. Aunt Norma always seem to have a smile. Last time I saw her she laughed about getting older and instead just said how she felt blessed to have another day. Hopefully this summer we will be able to have an Italian dinner and share the blessing of Aunt Norma.

We will sadly miss our visits with Norma, our neighbor across the street. She was a real asset to our neighborhood and, amazingly, still cooked for herself even at her advanced age, read the newspaper, and stayed in touch with friends and neighbors.

Our best wishes go to her family and friends. May you find comfort in happy memories of a wonderful person.
