Obituary

Beulah Zanetos Trotter, age 95, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 10 a.m., until the time of the funeral at 11 a.m., at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio (43215). Reverend Father Demetrios Gardikes, Cathedral Dean, presiding.
She was born March 21, 1925, in Columbus to Greek immigrants, Anthony and Lula (Pathis) Zanetos. Beulah proudly graduated from The Ohio State University in 1947 and worked for Columbus Coated Fabrics. She later worked for Battelle Memorial Institute and retired after 23 years. Beulah spent summers traveling. She loved visiting other countries, particularly Europe, Asia, and South America. She devoted much of her early years to taking care of her parents. Her death is preceded by her loving husband, John "Jack" Trotter, a WWII veteran; brothers, Nick (Nicki) Zanetos, Tom (Agnes) Zanetos, and John Zanetos; brother-in-law, Jack Collaros; nephew, Chris Collaros. Beulah is survived by her sister, Wilma "Frankie Zanetos" Collaros; nephews, Anthony T., Joe (Carol), Gregory, Timothy, Anthony, Tom (Nancy), and Craig (Amy) Zanetos; nephews, Pandel, Dean (Shelly), and Anthony (Cindy) Collaros; niece, Sharon Collaros; four stepchildren; and countless great and great-great nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral or Capitol City Hospice.
