I attended the Carmelite Novitiate with Annabell way back when she was Sr. Veronica of All Saints. I was a year behind her. She was a marvelous person, so funny and full of life. I got the biggest kick out of all the practical jokes Annabell used to play on us. I attended a Carmelite Reunion some 25 years back and had the opportunity to catch up with her. I loved her laugh. Sorry she is gone. RIP

Annabelle was my cousin, but more importantly my friend. She was funny, smart, irreverent, capable, and generous. When we were little, Dolly and I got to stay from Monday night to Friday night at Aunt Helen’s. We were with Annabelle and Elaine all week through the summer and had so much fun. As a teenager she was a dedicated volunteer at St. Raphael’s on Roxbury Rd. I missed Annabelle when she was in the convent and California. Eleven years ago a friend and I started a book club. I invited Annabelle because of her sparkling personality. She came to book club a few weeks ago when it was held at my house and the week before that she was at my house for a luncheon with family and friends. It’s amazing how much she did for as sick as she was. I love Annabelle. I will miss my witty, fun-loving cousin.
