What a wonderful life Bill led thanks to a very loving family. I had the privilege of knowing Bill for over 50 years and saw his hopes and dreams come true. No one was better than his loving wife and children who he talked about and shared so often. Love you Bill. You gave us all joy and you made our lives better having you in it.

Deepest sympathies at the passing of Bill. He always had the biggest smile on his face. We are so very sorry that this horrible tumor takes too many people way too young. Cherish your memories - they can’t be taken from you. Sending prayers.

There are no words that can be said that have not already been said "hundreds of times." However, I will give it a try.
Bill left us way too early. It is up to us now to keep his memories alive. At gatherings we must talk about him. Remember his famous sayings or catch phrases. We must revisit his proud moments and his embarrassing ones too. Doing this will keep him alive in our hearts and minds.

My deepest condolences to Bills family. Growing up living across the street from Bill in Gibsonburg was like having an older brother. Mark, Mike and Bill all took turns driving me to school beginning in 7th grade.
We had some fun conversations over the years.
Bill was always smiling, always confident and always had a plan. I admired that.
I have fond memories of Bill and Tino coaching me in Little League and of Bill and I in an elevator talking to the manager of the San Francisco Giants after a Reds game. I was very sad to lose my old friend and I'm sorry for the great loss this is to his family. But the memories make me smile.

I am at a loss for words. I enjoyed getting to know Bill our first year at OSU’s law school, and rooming with him the last two years at that great apartment near campus. He was a wonderful guy, and he will be missed. May all of you find peace in the wonderful memories of a life well-lived. Tom

I am deeply saddened to learn of Bill's passing, as we shared an apartment together in law school. A kind and gentle soul whose beaming smile and jocularity would nearly always brighten anyone's day. The world will miss you, brother.

To Tishia, Greg, Thomas and the family of Bill Damschroder. I first met Bill in 1993. We were both young lawyers working for Governor George Voinovich and Lt. Governor Mike DeWine. Bill and I remained friends for many years. Bill hired me as special counsel in 2013 to represent the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. We met for dinner in Grandview Heights. I was so shocked and saddened to hear about his sudden passing today. My deepest sympathies to the family. Frank J. Reed, Jr.
