Victor John "Vic" Sabo, age 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 1st 2011 at First Community Village. Vic was a salesman for Snap-on Tools for 15+ years and was the creator of the Snap-on Mobile Tool Sales. He was also the founder of Vic Sabo & Sons, Inc. Camping Center. Vic was an avid fisherman and loved to go camping. He is preceded in death by his parents Zigmond & Rosa, son Edward "Eddie" and siblings; Mary (Nick) Evanoff, Edith (Trumpski) Dimitroff, James J. Sabo, Sigmond (Dorothy) Sabo, Alex (Helen) Sabo and Pauline (Bob) Mulcahy. Vic is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 72+ years, Helen, children; Patricia Carleton, Michael (Sharon) Sabo, George Sabo, Rosemarie (Rick) Lowder and David (Gail) Sabo, grandchildren; Michael (Anna), Lisa (Rick), Victoria (Chad), Michael, Christina (Terry), Jeffrey (Melissa), Gennifer, Dustin (Tessa), Zachary, Sean, Helen "Kate", Bryan and Christopher, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Sabo family would like to express great appreciation and special thanks to all the staff at First Community Village and InCare Hospice. Friends may call FRIDAY, May 6th 2011 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 4:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM on SATURDAY, May 7th at St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church. FAMILY & FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH. Private Interment at a later date.
