Tony Perrotta, age 93, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Grandview in 1916. He was a WWII Army Veteran, who served as an MP. He was also a member of AMVETS, The American Legion and former member of the BIA and Columbus Maennerchor. Tony and Jane co-founded Perrotta's Marble Shop, Inc. Tony loved his family, dancing with Jane and had many friends with whom he enjoyed talking about the old days. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank & Carolina Maria Perrotta, who immigrated to America from Bonofrio, Italy and brother Dominic Perrotta. Survived by his loving wife, Jane with whom they recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary, children; Sandy (Steve) Thomas of Cape Coral, FL., Tony (Marilou) Perrotta of Des Plains, IL, Lora (Tom) McGinnis, Marsha (Tom) Neal, Rita (Jerry) Righter, Frank (Jackie) Perrotta, sisters Ida (Alfred) Capuano of Ft. Myers, FL. and Sylvia (Erwin) Voit. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call TUESDAY, May 5th, 2009 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Prayer Service will be held 11:00 AM on WEDNESDAY, May 6th 2009 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel (within the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street, Lockboune, Ohio).
