Obituary

Timothy Alan Leach, age 58 of Gallipolis, OH passed away at Riverside Hospital on April 4, 2022. Tim was born in Nelsonville, OH on May 30, 1963. Tim is proceeded in death by his mother Nancy E. Leach. He is also proceeded in death by his grandparents, Robert C. and Genevieve A. Leach and Thomas L. and Georgia I. Donohue. Tim is survived by the woman who had his heart and the mother of his children Melissa Bing. Tim is also survived by his children who he dearly loved. Amanda Leach (Shawn Saunders), Nicholas Leach, Thomas Leach, and Christopher (Ashley) Leach and his grandchildren Madelynn Leach and Joseph Saunders of Gallipolis, OH. Tim is survived by his father Eugene and stepmother Connie Leach of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by his brothers Robert (Amy) Leach of Columbus, OH, Kevin (Lisa) Leach of Upton, MA, David (Tammy) Leach of Senecaville, OH, Alan Leach of Columbus OH, his stepsister Consetta (Tim) Schmidt of Warren, IN, and his aunts and uncles Anna and Mark Kansala of Bloomingdale, OH, Ruthann and Leonard Young of Keystone Heights, FL and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tim was a former resident of Westerville, OH. He graduated from Westerville South High School. He was an avid sportsman. In his younger years he actively trapped and hunted. He loved to fish in ponds along the Ohio River. He also liked sports especially following the Ohio State Buckeyes. Tim will be deeply missed by his family. A funeral Mass will be held April 23, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road, Columbus, OH 43212. Father William Metzger will be the celebrant. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Tim's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Saint Louis Catholic Church, 85 State Street, Gallipolis, OH 45631. Tim will be Interred April 28, 2022, 10:30 AM at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery Gallipolis OH. The grave side committal will be done by Father Thomas Hamm.
