I am sooooooo sorry to hear about Steve. He was such a wonderful guy and we loved him at Invensys. He and Thomas, whom we lost last year at this time, and Sherry and I always had lunch on Fridays. The last luch we had at Wendy's was for his birthday in October. He was always teasing me about how old I was, because I'm 5 months older than he was. We had planned to get together again before Christmas but I just didn't get it put together. I know you and your sons, and the beagles are devastated. He spoke of all of you all the time and we'd compare dog stories, as I'm sure he's told you, being the dog lady I am. Vicki called me on Sunday to tell me, and I told Sherry Sunday night at church. We both burst out crying. I know there is nothing I can say to make this any easier on all of you, but please know that as time passes your memories will get you through this. We will miss him greatly, as well. By the way, that's a wonderful picture of Steve. All that's missing is the cigar, which we gave him grief about all the time!! Again, I'm so sorry and will pray that God will grant you the strength to get through all of this. He's in a wonderful place now, along with my mother who just passed away in August, and The Lord will take good care of him.

Sincerely,
Karen Shearrow

Steve and I meet only a few month ago at the Holy Family soup kitchen. We nicknamed Steve and Andy another coworker, the soup police) because they had worn a path to the kettle of soup. I don't beleive steve ever meet a stranger. We became friends and exchanged stories about growing up here on the westside of Columbus. He will be dearly missed and I am a better person to have meet him.

My sincere condolence for your devastating loss of Steve. He was one of my favorite Region Credit Managers, that I had the pleasure of working with at Terra. He was always asking about my family's well being. Steve was a very up beat gracious gentleman. His work ethic was exceptional. Steve will be remembered by anyone who touched his life.

It was a real honor to know Steve. We will remember Steve as a kind and generous man, a loving husband, a proud father, and a great neighbor. We looked forward to seeing his smiling face outside when we were frantically chasing our little guy up and down the sidewalk. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Please know that you are in our prayers. After reviewing the video, I was reminded the time Steve and I spent together at St. Peters. We were in second through sixth grade together until I-71 scattered families throughout Columbus. Thank you for sharing your memories.

Dear Steve Guglielmi family I a very saddened to hear about Steve's passing and your loss. I knew Steve well as a young boy with my grandmother living right next door to him in a double on St. Clair Avenue. My grandmother Concettina Bevilacqu came to Columbus from Italy and remained best friends with Panfilia Guglielmi til their ends. Steve and I played together and were friends young boys...I spoke to Steve back in the 80's when I owned a travel company doing trips to Las Vegas at that time. Please accept my best wishes and sympathies for the family and say hello to all for me! I truly believe we will all meet one day soon in the great hereafter and Steve and I will again be friends.

We were saddened when we opened the newspaper and saw Steven's picture. After reading the obituary, we spent time reminiscing about the old neighborhood and "Pambil's" grandchildren. We were all like family, as Louie Asmo mentions in his message. It is always devistating to hear about one so young and close, leaving us much too soon. As I read the condolences on this website, and viewed the video, I could not help but think of what a neat guy Steven was, and what wonderful memories he leaves embedded in our minds and hearts. Our deepest sympathy.

I had the pleasure of working with Steve @ Terra for over 15 years, and it was always a joy to talk to him even though his messages were about some one who was past due.He always tried to be so serious , but he came across funny and caring. A fine Christian man indeed.God Bless. finefineA
