Obituary

Samuel Raymond Hebert, Sr., age 77, went to be with Jesus on Sunday November 23, 2008 after a long bout with Alzheimer's. Resident of Columbus, OH and Mt. Gilead, OH. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Sam was an Iron Worker with Local Union 172 since October 1, 1955. Member of the International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Iron Workers. Sam was a loving husband , father and grandfather and is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia; children; Susie Reid, Atlanta, GA, Debbie (Michael) Blubaugh, Hebron, OH, Pamela (Edward) Dory, Atlanta, GA, Samuel Jr.(Deborah) Hebert, Hilliard, Ohio, Julie Russell, Powell, OH, grandchildren; Jayme Reid, Jessy (Josh) Creed, Jodi (Jonathan) Freiman, Patrick Russell, Andrew Blubaugh, Emily Blubaugh, Bradley Hebert, Abigail Hebert, Silia Dory and Evan Dory, great-grandchildren; Lily Creed and Landon Freiman. Also survived by sister Faith Opp, brothers; Rolland (Sandra) Hebert and Michael (Barbara) Hebert, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. He is preceded in death by parents Henry Joseph and Savannah Mae Hebert, brother Eugene Henry Hebert, sisters; Louise Miller and Natalie (Walter) Hunt and son Timothy Hebert. Friends may
call FRIDAY, November 28th, 2008 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM, SATURDAY, November 29th, 2008 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1420 Grandview Avenue. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish, may contribute in memory of Sam to the Samuel Raymond Hebert Sr. Memorial Fund 1177 W. 5th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43212.
