Ruth Ann Potter, age 85, passed away on October 6, 2024, at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. For those of us who knew Ruthy, we knew that she loved to go fishing and camping. She enjoyed decorating for every season and holiday, both indoors and outdoors. She always tinkered with her flowers and various plants, and she loved to gamble when given the opportunity. She liked to travel and go on vacations. She adored her pets dearly and enjoyed getting dressed up and doing her hair and makeup. She was preceded in death by her parents, Viola Roosa and Charles Fleming; her sons, Michael Scully and Donnie Elliott; her sister, Mary F. Brown; and her nephew, Ronnie Sexton. She is survived by the love of her life, Charles Scully; her daughters, Linda Preston, Mary Ross, and Sheryl Elliott; her grandchildren, Teresa (Chris) Williamson, Kenneth (April) Beachman, Aaron (Jacqueline) Green, John (Courtney) Green, Tiffany Evans, James (Charity) Aaron, Jason (Angie) Aaron, and Bobbie Jo (Daniel) Hall; her great-grandchildren, Micailla (Jacob) Jackson, Juan Oviedo, Katey Beachman, Tierra Manning, Kristen Gillespie, Gavin Clayton, Cameron, Johnathan Green, Hunter Jury, Kayden Tomak, Caleb, Josiah, Abraham, Isaac Aaron, Abigail Aldridge, Victoria, Hannah, Kylie, Madi, and Timothy Aaron, Jr., Olivia and Addison Hall; and her great-great-grandchildren, Kimiko Aldridge, Miguel and Jon Oviedo, Micah Spearman, Hayden Purser, and Josie Manning. Please join us in a celebration of life on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, located at 1177 W 5th Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43212. Calling hours are from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, with the service starting at 12:00 pm. A procession will follow to St. Joseph's Cemetery 6440 S. High Street Lockbourne, Ohio 43137.
