Ronald W. Turscak, 80, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026. Born on December 22, 1945, in Youngstown, Ohio, Ron later made his home in Columbus, where he built a life centered around family, hard work, and the simple joys that meant the most to him. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy before going on to a long career in sales, where his strong work ethic and natural ability to connect with people left a lasting impression on many. Ron was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He shared a loving marriage of 59 years with his wife, Sharon Turscak, and took great pride in the family they built together. He was the kind of man who showed up; steady, reliable, and always there for the people he loved. Ron was happiest in the simple rhythms of life, spending time in the yard, being outdoors, and keeping up with The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Guardians. More than anything, Ron will be remembered for the love he had for his family. His presence was constant, his support unwavering, and his impact immeasurable. Ron is survived by his wife, Sharon; his daughters, Ronda Carpenter (Sean) and Shannon Rockwell; his beloved grandchildren, Riley and Ryan Carpenter, and Shelby, Hunter, and Taylor Rockwell. He is also survived by his sister, Carol (Michael) Gromada and family. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm at John Quint Treboni Funeral Home 1177 W 5th Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43212 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1 pm.
