Obituary
R. Michael Duffey passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 in Leesburg, Florida. Preceded in death by wife, Linda Duffey; parents, Robert and Esther Duffey; brother-in-law, Greg Williams. He is survived by his son, Michael (Shelly) Duffey of Tallahassee, FL; daughter, Susan (Jason) Ballata of Wesley Chapel, FL; four grandchildren; brother, Jere (Sally) Duffey of Nashville, TN; sister, Patty Williams of Etna, OH; along with many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on February 16, 2023 from 10:00am - 12:30pm at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212. A procession will follow to a Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137 for a Celebration of Life Service. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Vietnam Veterans of America (vva.org) or Boy & Girls Club of Tampa Bay (BGCTampa.org)

The last time I saw Mike, we were sitting together at Ford Hayes in downtown Columbus on June 16th 1966, we were being inducted into the Army. I've always wondered what happened to Mike, where'd he serve and always looked for him at our class reunions. Rest in peace Mike.
