Obituary

Robert Daniel Brown, age 91, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born on January 8, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio to Nellie Hines Brown and Robert Lee Brown. He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Juanita (Babe), 11 brothers and sisters, and 1 great-grandson. He is survived by daughters Pam (Bill), Chris, and son, Rob (Barb). Also survived by grandchildren; Erin Bates (Tim), Kelly Timberlake (Stix), Jamie Welch (Pace), Jason Smith (Nicole), Justin Smith (Raeann), Makenzie Mills (Steve), Zach Creadon (Katie), and Daniel Brown (Mallory). Proud Great-Grandfather to Becker Smith, Caroline Timberlake, Annarose Timberlake, Wyatt Welch, Hannah Bates, Benson Smith, Eden Welch, Ryleigh Timberlake, Maxwell Bates, Dallas Mills, Bodhi Smith, Luna Smith, Bernice Mills, and Georgia Timberlake. Bob leaves a brother, Virgil and sister, Karel.
Bob was a proud Marine Corp veteran who was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. He worked hard at everything he did. He proudly received his GED at the age of 67. He was a well-respected masonry contractor in Central Ohio for over 62 years. He worked with Rob in his home remodeling business well into his 91st year.
Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, cheering for the Buckeyes, his hand-held Solitaire, beating everyone at corn hole, and music. His laugh was loud, his singing louder. In 2018 he was the oldest member to perform with Vaud-Villities Production.
The family would like to thank Mt. Carmel Hospice for their loving care and guidance. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local hospice. Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2022 from 4-6 pm at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212, with a memorial service beginning at 6:00pm.
