Obituary

Rita Mosca DiSante age 88 of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2026. Rita was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She devoted her life to the care of her family and those she loved. Rita immigrated to Columbus, Ohio from Cerreto, Italy in 1954, with her parents, Carmine & Giovanna Mosca, her brother Mario, and sisters, Elva and Mirella. She married Vincenzo O. DiSante on August 31, 1957. Rita is survived by her son, Anthony (Jackie) DiSante; grandson, Daniel (Caroline); granddaughter, Alyssa; and great-granddaughters, Evelina and Luciana; sisters, Elva Falasca, and Mirella Duffey, (Castle Knox); sister-in-law, Clara Mosca; along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Vincenzo; son, Bruno; parents; Carmine & Giovanna Mosca; and brothers, Mario and Alfio. There will be a Visitation on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home 1177 W 5th Ave Columbus, Ohio 43212 from 5-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held the next day Friday, June 19, 2026 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road, Columbus, Ohio 43212 at 12 noon. A Procession will form at the funeral home at 9 am on Saturday, June 20, 2026 for a 9:30 am Graveside Service at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street Lockbourne, Ohio 43137.
