I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great man that I am glad to have known. He taught me my first lesson as a landscape designer. Get to know your client. In his words “I’m a concrete guy. Why would you design all these wood decks for my back yard?” This led to concept 2 and a lifelong lesson. May his memories give you comfort.

John, I remember so vividly working with your father (and you) at DeArini's and the Black Forest Inn some 50 years ago. Your father touched the lives of so many people with his generosity and work ethic and helped many of us get through school. Those who knew him will no doubt remember him fondly and be saddened at his passing. My sincere condolences go out to you and your family. RIP Dick.
