Dear Uncle Dante:

While I am not with you physically I am very much with you in spirit and always will be.

I can't put into words easily how much I truly love you and have since I was a very young boy and I have always wanted to tell you just how special you are to me and this is a time to do so. You are absolutely one of the nicest, kindest, sweetest, most charming, and decent men I have ever known and you have made my life much better for my having been so close to you and so comforted by you.

I trust very much in your God and our God as you, more than anyone else, have taught me to do. I am certain that HE will take extra special care of Aunt Rena because of her deeds as well as your deeds along with his Great Love.

My father, who loved you oh so very much, used to joke that our best chance of getting to heaven is the fact that we are so close to you. My father, like me, believed that God holds you as very special in his eyes.

Uncle Danny, I am very, very sorry to hear about your loss and our loss. Aunt Rena will be missed by all of us but we are comforted by the fact that she will do so well with God and will join all of our other dear relatives who have passed to the other side. I speak to them daily and pray in their name often.

If there is anything that I can do to give you peace and happiness on this earth please request it of me and let me do it.

You would make me very happy by calling me one day and asking me to pick you up at the Las Vegas McCarran airport and letting me drive you back to my townhouse where you will be my guest any time you want for as long as you want. My house is your house and anything that I have in this life you also have.

You are and have always been very special in my eyes and I wish you peace now and forever!!!

Your loving and grieving nephew,

Louis J.Asmo

Danny-It is with regret that I send these condolences on the passing of your wife Rena. I have been your neighbor at 89 South Hempstead Road for 28+ years. It was in 1985, during my hour of crisis that you offered me your love and support and shared with me your love of the Lord. I hope that now I can return that love and support in your hour of sorrow. I know that God will bring out the sunshine to dry up your tears and create a rainbow of wonderful memories of Rena that you share with your family.
God has a way of cradling you in his arms and restoring your soul and comforting you in the fact that Rena is in a better place. May God bless you during this time of grieving, and shower you with the love of your family and friends.
