Obituary

Raymond J. Frabott, Jr., of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on March 31, 2026. He was born on September 28th,1945. Raymond is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth (Moots) Frabott, his father Raymond Frabott Sr., his step-mother Dolores Frabott, his older sister Rita Schwartz, and his nephew Todd Schwartz. He is survived by his younger sister Sue (Frabott) VanDivort, his daughter, Danielle Bentley; his son Tony Frabott and wife Melissa Frabott; his grandchildren, Hannah Bentley, Haley Bentley, Coby Frabott, Gianna Frabott, Silas Frabott, and his great-grandchild, Olivia Brown, his nieces Kelley (Kevin) Shumard, Erin (Matt) Ayres, April (Andy) Reardon and Kim (TD) Denney and their familes. Raymond was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished time with his family. Upon retiring, Raymond celebrated over 20 years of service at Medex / Smith's Medical supply. Raymond was a devoted member of St. James the Less Parish and served several years as a volunteer. He was a proud basketball coach, basketball referee and he gave many years of service as head of the Bingo Hall concessions on Friday nights. He also gave many years of service volunteering during the St. James the Less summer festivals. He was an Ohio State Buckeye fan as well as a super fan of his granddaughter's softball and band careers at St. Francis DeSales High School. He will be remembered for his love of family, amazing generosity, silly humor and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6730 Henschen Circle, Westerville, Ohio 43082 on April 18, 2026 from 12-4 pm. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was my uncle ray ray for many years. I enjoyed his humor and love for family. He loved everyone as they were his kids and grandkids. He looked at my kids as his grandchild. I will really miss your hugs uncle ray ray. I love you and you will be forever remembered.
