Patsy June Kette was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on June 22, 1934, Pat passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, at the age of 91, at First Community Village in Columbus, Ohio. Pat was a longtime resident of Columbus, where she and her husband, Dean Kette, raised their two daughters, Mindy and Michele, in their beloved Clintonville neighborhood. She was a devoted and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since the age of 15. Pat truly lived the values of service and compassion, always taking care of her neighbors and volunteering her time. She served in many callings within her local LDS ward and at the LDS Temple, both of which held a special place in her heart. Pat volunteered for Meals on Wheels and at Riverside Hospital for many years, dedicating countless hours to helping others. She met her husband, Dean, 61 years ago on a blind date while working as a hairdresser in Columbus. From that day forward, they shared a deep and lasting love as husband and wife until the very end. The greatest joys in Pat's life were her grandchildren, Jackson and Noelle. She was also blessed with four "bonus" grandchildren—Taylor, Bailey, Annie, and Tommy—whom she adored. Pat enjoyed reading, church history, flowers, and especially a good girls' day out, with lunch and shopping. She always took time to look her best and was known for her timeless style and love of anything blue and white. She was immensely proud of her two daughters, Mindy and Michele, and the closeness they shared. Pat was also a true foodie—her last meal out was at one of her favorite restaurants, Hunan Lion, and she was thrilled. Cooking and reading recipes brought her joy, and her delicious meals were enjoyed by many friends and family. Her talent in the kitchen and her love of home have been lovingly passed down to her daughters. Traveling out west, especially to visit her dear sister Joanne and family in Utah, brought her so much joy. Pat found beauty and peace in the outdoors, especially in the billowing clouds she called "gifts from Heaven." She often said, "Those are gifts from Heaven"—and now she is one of them. A woman of faith, love, and the beauty that surrounded her. "Well done, thy good and faithful servant." There is no service at this time. Just remember Pat when you look up at the beautiful clouds, for she is there. She is a gift to Heaven... and to us.
