It is not often that we are blessed to know someone who is so beautiful on the outside and amazingly even more beautiful on the inside.... I feel blessed to have had Patti in my life..... my heart is broken.... my love and prayers go out to the Passen and Pardi family....truly the most genuine person I have ever known. She had a gift, the rare ability to make everyone feel so welcomed, so special. May she rest in peace in the glory of God. We are so sorry for your loss- she will be missed by so many.

Patti had the grace and style that few can display genuinely; she had the love of so many and the energy and force to conquer life. She took on any task at 110%. She was a great wife, mother, care giver and community leader. You knew when she was around that something was going to happen – and it would include fun, joy and life. Her spirit will remain in everyone who ever met her. Dear little Patti Rest in Peace, in the Grace of God. Love, Marty, Leesa, Maggie, Elizabeth, Patrick and Katherine Bennett

I worked with Patti for several years at Mt. Carmel as we both began our nursing careers. We shared weddings and babies and many good times. My favorite thing about Patti was her laugh. You couldn't help but get caught up in laughter as well. Her laughter will be missed in this world. Please accept my sincerest condolences to all those who loved her.

Dear all,
Words cannot express the shock and sadness I felt when I heard about Patti. I just spoke with her last week and everything sounded encouraging. Patti and I have been friends over 30 years--We became very close as we struggled together through Mt.Carmel. She was my maid of honor. She is my first born daughters Godmother. And even though I moved to Florida many years ago, we never lost touch. Patti had an infectious laughter and could light up a room wherever she went. She absolutely adored her children and did so much for them. I will truly miss her with all my being. Patti, I love you; may you finally be at peace.

So much has been said about Patti and the unmeasurable joy and laughter she brought to all who knew her and patients for which she cared. All of it is echoed in my heart felt pain and sadness. I want her family to know that she left a pattern of caring we all should try to attain and hold on to. I will miss her loving and laughter so very much and hope this message in some small way will bring Ron, her beautiful kids, parents, and siblings some small amount of peace. What a beautiful person.

Dear Pardi and Passen Families,

I am so very sorry to hear of Patti's passing. Although my family moved from Columbus in the seventies, I always remembered your family with great fondness. I was so touched when Patti came to my mom's funeral thirty years later. It was just the kind of person that I remembered her to be. My heart breaks for you Ron and for your children and all of Patti's family. Sometimes it impossible to imagine why such tragedies must happen. Please know that she is happy with our Lord in heaven, and keeping you all close to her heart.
Warmest Regards,
Kathleen Marable Boucher

Our deepest sympathies to the families. Patti Passen will always live in all of our hearts forevermore. She was one of the finest human beings and classiest lady I ever came to know. We will all miss her beautiful smile and definitely her "spunkiness". I will always regard her as the only sister I ever had. Words just cannot express the loss of such a wonderful person. We love you all. The Rings.

Our deepest condolences to the Passen and Pardi families. The world lost one of it's finest this Tuesday in Patti Passen. Patti Passen will always be remembered by us as a "top shelf", a dynamic God-inspired soul. We are just so saddened. We only really got to know Patti during our brief journey as members of the St. Andrew Family. And we only learned just recently of her health struggles. When someone is so full of Life, such a plus to the current world, it's hard for us to ever think of them being able to leave so early. For us, Patti was always the "I", in the song "Here I am Lord". She had this ability to just fill an environment with "positive" Energy, Peace and Love. She always was encouraging, always looking to give, help, support, calm, do, be, etc. Whatever a situation needed, Patti truly was an example of how a Christian should be or do. We will truly miss her as undoubtedly everyone that knew her will miss her. Rest in Peace Patti. Mark and Melissa Sigrist

Since 1974, when we moved to Ohio, the Hobart family has been connected to the Pardi family. My oldest sister graduated with a Pardi in 1975. Patti graduated with one of my older brothers in 1980 and they planned their 30th reunion together. The youngest twin brothers were in my class at St. Andrews from 4th grade to our graduation as BWHS class of 1983.

I didn’t know Patti personally. I knew her as Dan and Dave’s older, pretty, well-liked sister and I am so sorry you’ve lost your sister, wife, mother, daughter, and friend.

With deepest sympathy,

I have been thinking of you all for so many days. Patti loved her kids and all kids so very much. Her legacy is her wonderful children. I also send my condolences to the Pardi Family. There is one less angel on earth and one more in heaven.

My sister, Mary Jo Artrup, passed away shortly before Thanksgiving. She and Patti worked together, and my sister also died too young. Patti wasn't feeling all that well at the time when my sister was ill, but she was there for my sister, providing her with whatever was needed. As Patti and some of her other nursing friends visited, my sister visibly brightened up. It was my pleasure to get to know her during that time. What a caring, loving, good-natured friend she was!

I am so very sorry for your loss. May your sweet memories of Patti sustain you during this time. My prayers are with all of you.

Since we are approaching the Lenten season; my mind and spirit automatically go to Patti, Ron and the children; since in 2011 Ron agreed to be my sponsor for RCIA and Patti encouraged him, selflessly giving up every Wednesday night and then some with her husband for close to eight months. I’ve tried to express to them how grateful I am for their willingness to be instruments of the Lord’s work, bearers of the Faith and enabling me to complete a lifetime journey home. To me; Patti, Ron and the children are and were a wonderful example of what God calls a marriage and family to be, standing shoulder to shoulder; laughing and crying, caring and doing, sharing and praying. Patti was faith-filled, beautiful, smart, talented, generous, caring and fun here on earth; when I think of her virtues magnified in Heaven, it brings me great solace for those she is smiling down on. Ron, John, Nina, Eddie, Fran; Dave and family, I pray for God to grant you the peace and comfort that only He can, we know that Patti is well with her Lord. Linda, Jennifer, Jamie & Kendra
