Nancy E. Kukla, age 74, passed away on January 3, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 18, 1940 to John and Mary Lorna Feeley in Chicago IL. They moved to Ohio in 1963 eventually settling in Columbus, where they raised their family. When their children were young, she stayed at home to look after them and to make sure that they made it to all of the swim lessons, dance classes and gymnastics that they could squeeze into a week. As her children grew up, she continued to have an active role in shaping young children by working for the Grandview Heights School District. She worked with kindergarteners for over 20 years and loved every single child she met. She would light up as she spoke of the students she had, she remembered all of them and could tell a story about each one. Nancy also had talent for making dolls and other crafts that she would share with friends and relatives. Nancy was active on the Grandview Heights Marble Cliff Arts Council as well as a Member of the Grandview Heights Library and of the Grandview Heights Civic Welfare Club.
