Obituary
Nancy Anne Cecutti (Bergin) loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend went to the park on September 28th at 95 years of age. She is preceded in death by parents, Daniel and Mary (Redmond) Bergin; sister, Lucielle Lake; husband, William (Sam) Cecutti; grandson, Rocco Cecutti, and many other loved ones. She was born on May 20, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio. She and her sister Lucille were thick as thieves and the best of friends. She was a graduate of St. Mary's (German Village) where she met her husband Sam. They moved to Upper Arlington, where she lived till this day, and raised 5 children, whom she is all survived by; Tom (Debbie) Cecutti, Harry Cecutti, Mark (Lori) Cecutti, Mary Elizabeth (Gary Burke) Cecutti, and Dan (Diane) Cecutti. There were three things that Nancy will be most known for in her life- being Nana to her 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, being proud to be Irish and her unwavering faith as a devout member of the Catholic Church. Her 10 grandchildren, Justin Mackey, Rocco, Karic, Cassi, Gina, Anna, Olivia, Samantha, Sarah Jane Payne, and Clayton Payne have some of the fondest memories of their childhood thanks to their Nana, and they will hold them dear for all their lives. Nancy was always proud to be Irish and Catholic and would frequently be found holding her rosary close and her beer closer. Her humor, kindness, and smile will be surely missed, but how blessed were we to get to have her here for 95 years. We love you Nana !!

Thinking of you and your family. We adored always hearing what sweet and sassy Nana was up to, may your favorite memories bring you comfort during this time. She lives on through your caring heart and I have no doubt her and Lorna are having a drink together up there!

I remember growing up with the Redmond- Bergin- Douridas clan.
Nancy was a beautiful girl and brought joy to so many people. She was our matriarch and will be sorely missed.
Her Irish heritage and Catholicism were important in her life and gave all of us something to emulate.

Your mother was always one of my favorite people. A beautiful and warm person, whose external beauty was only rivaled by her inner beauty. I knew her mother was a Redmond, a famous name among Columbus Catholics, and she and Sam raised a wonderful family. I join them in mourning for Nancy- but give thanks to God for the difference for good she made in so many lives, mine included. To her children, grandchildren and all the family my prayers are with you as we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman - your dear mother.
