Michael S. (Mickey) Tocci, age 68, longtime resident of Grandview Heights and Buxton, North Carolina, died Friday, July 25, 2008, after a short illness. He was born on November 14, 1939, the son of Michael V. and Betty Tocci. He was a graduate of Aquinas High School, Class of 1957 and The Ohio State Univeristy. He was involved in the construction on many building projects, including: OSU West Campus, Chemical Abstracts, The James A. Rhodes State Office Tower, and many civil and state office projects with Brubaker & Brandt, Trott and Bean, and Michael S. Tocci and Associates. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf, fishing, boating, travel and the Game of 21. He also enjoyed the company of many family and friends and achieved much success in his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael V. and Betty M. Tocci; brother-in-law, Charlie James; aunt, Mary Moras; and cousin, John Montenaro. He is survived by his sister, Ruthanne James; nephew, Andy James; children, Molly Newberry (Bill Hoffman), Michael (Irene) Tocci, Frank Tocci (Andrea Paquette), Rosalie (Donnie) Kinney, Anne Marie (Bryan) Fail of North Carolina, Rocco (Barbie) Tocci, and Nick Tocci (Louanne Risinger); grandchildren, Tim, Tiffany, Tony, J.R., Caleb, Makayla, Isaac; great grandchild, Kylie; also, his aunt, Dorothy Montenaro; and cousins, Elizabeth, Patty, and Maryanne Moras. Fifth Avenue from 4:00-8:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., WEDNESDAY at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1420 Grandview Avenue. Rev. Msgr. John K. Cody, Presider.
