Obituary

Mary Gallucci, 97, passed away peacefully at the Hoover Haus in Grove City on November 4, 2023. Mary was a devoted wife and proud and loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by husband, Leonard J. Gallucci Sr.; grandchildren, Johnny Ray, Megan and Morgan Veltheims. Mary is survived by children, Leonard J. Gallucci Jr., James P. Gallucci, Cheryl Hill-Gallucci, Lynda Gallucci, Bill Hall and Gina Veltheims; grandchildren, Richard Kulp, Lea Jennie Love, and Lindsey (Casey) Jenks, Kristen Rittenhouse and Lauren Veltheims; great-grandchildren, Summer and Aspen Jenks, and Sofia Marie. Mary co-owned the Marywood Restaurant and spent most of her life as a waitress at places such as Mills 19 & the Purple Cow, Arlington Arms, Lincoln Lodge, Suburban Steak House, and the Christopher Inn. Mary loved to cook, sew, quilt, do jigsaw puzzles and color. She even once bowled a perfect 300 game. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212 from 4-7 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held the following day, November 14, 2023 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel inside St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137 at 1 pm.

We're so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing, our thoughts and prayers are with you. I still remember your Mom pouring hot water on the Corvair to get the ice off the windshield to take us to school in the morning. May she rest in peace.
