Obituary
Mary R. Fregonas(Mesi), age 92, passed away peacefully, on Monday January 31, 2011. Mary was known as a great cook and her family enjoyed her wonderful meals throughout the years. In addition to cooking, her many talents included sewing, gardening and crocheting. She also kept fit through her workouts at the spa over the years. Mary was a hard worker and was employed at a variety of jobs in her life. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with family and friends. We were lucky to have her and will deeply miss her in our lives. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Pete, her parents Antonio & Rosa, infant brother, Santo A. Mesi, brother, Sandy P. Mesi, Joseph (Martha) Mesi, infant sister, Theresa Mesi and sister, Josephine (Primo) Tiburzio, brothers-in-law; Tony and Florindo Fregonas and Norman Hedman. Survived by her loving and devoted children, Michele Fregonas and Paul Fregonas, sisters; Jean Cavener and Louise Hedman, sisters-in-law; Ada (John) Pusateri, Mary Fregonas, Italia Fregonas and Mary K. Iannarino. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and many close family friends. Friends may call MONDAY February 7, 2011 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on TUESDAY February 8, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Rev. Msgr. Romano Ciotola, Presider. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Friends who wish may contribute in memory of Mary to the Ohio Health Foundation (HomeReach) 180 E.
