Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Antonelli, age 98, passed away peacefully at home. She was born July 1, 1922 in Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry J. Antonelli; her mother, Anna M. Antonelli; and sister Edith L. Lombardi. Survived by brother-in-law, Mondo F. Lombardi; nieces, Linda A. (Michael) Norris, Elizabeth Oliva, Catherine Yerich, Jane (Tom) Paskell and Patricia Cantwell; and nephews, Robert A. (Susie) Lombardi and John D. Lombardi. Mary graduated from Central High School and retired from Westwater Company, where she worked as an executive administrator. After retirement from Westwater Company she volunteered many hours at Mt. Carmel West Hospital and St. Joseph Cathedral. Mary enjoyed the performing arts, attending various sports events and travel. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A private funeral Mass for family members only will be held at St. Joseph Cathedral with entombment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. No Visitation. A celebration of Mary's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to, St. Joseph Cathedral, 212 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43215; Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E.
