Mario Mosca age 82, passed away on October 24, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Preceded in death by parents; Carmine/Giovanna Mosca, father-in-law/mother-in-law; Michael/Erminia Falasca, grandson; Brian Waldo, brother-in-law; Vincent DiSante, brother-in-law; Armando Falasca, nephews; Bruno DiSante and Eric Falasca. Survived by spouse, Clara Mosca, children; Anna Waldo/Joe, John Mosca/Julie, Marcello Mosca/Karen and Gabriella Harris. Also survived by sisters; Rita DiSante, Elva Falasca, Mirella Duffey/Castle, brother-in law; Alfonso Falasca/Edilia, grandchildren; Ashley Kwiatkowski/Matt, Raymond Steele/Lauren, Marcellino Mosca/Rachael, Elizabeth Williamson/Thomas, Danielle Hopkins/Andrew, Joey Waldo, Emily Mosca/Chris, Isaiah Harris, Elly Mosca, Christian Harris, Salvatore and Alessia Mosca, great grandchildren; Aadyn Hopkins, Rylan and Roman Kwiatkowski, Ace Steele and Thomas Jay Williamson III (Tripp). Also survived by many close nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends. Friends may call THURSDAY October 28th 2021 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 5-7pm with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on FRIDAY October 29th 2021 at St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church 1600 N. Hague Avenue, Columbus, Ohio Rev. Fr. Jeff J. Rimelspach. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE ASK TO MEET AT CHURCH FOR HIS FUNERAL MASS. Oh my dear Clara, my heart is broken for you. I missed you at Mass and called and asked only to find out that Mario had died. He was a buddy at Mass to my husband Carlton. Such a sweet man. You dedicated your life to him, I know the sudden void in his presence will be excruciatingly difficult. Please know you and Mario are in my prayers. May Mario's soul rest in the peace of Christ. We have never met but I am doing some genealogy work and know my grandfather and great grandparents name was Mosca and they came from Cerretto, Italy. I wonder if Mario and I were some kind of cousins? Again, I am so sorry for the loss to all of your family.
