Lynda is survived by her brother, James Edington of Houston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Greg Wehmeyer of Cincinnati; her sons, Randy and Phungtong "Timmie" of Westlake Village, California, Steven and Lyn of Reading, Ohio, Craig of Hyannis, Massachusetts , Scott and James Patrick "JP" of Columbus; seven grandchildren, Phillip "Phil" (Miranda) Couch, Christina "Chrissy" (Tony) Land, of Cincinnati, Joseph "Joey" Penwell of Hyannis, Massachusetts, Sheryn Howard of California, Timothy, Lawryn, and Lyndsie Dehond of Cincinnati; nephews and nieces, Greg, Chris, Matthew, Michael and Sean (Kaete) Edington of Missouri, Ohio and Texas, Jerry, Joann and Lloyd Linkhorn, Joyce Althoff, Sharon Cotter, Robbie Penwell, Cathy, Fritz and Ivan Penwell; great-grandchildren, Ava Couch and Kylie Land; sisters-in-law, Tony "Mitzi" Edington of Columbus and Evelyn Penwell of California; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Lynda was an extraordinarily kind, forgiving, inspiring, fun, and attractive human being known and loved by many who were fortunate to be touched by her giving spirit. When not attending her sons sporting events at Grandview Heights High School, Lynda could be found for many years providing management support to Presutti's Villa or The Spaghetti Warehouse restaurants. She was a natural motivator and carried herself with elegance and believed in the power of positive thinking sharing her enthusiasm for the gift of life from God above. She successfully combined career and motherhood, providing love and strength to her family; she was a true inspiration to many. "Mom & Sis" will be missed greatly yet we are happy knowing she no longer feels ill. A heartfelt special note of gratitude and thanks to Pastor's Josh Lively and Gerri Nugent of First Church of the Nazarene, as well as the congregation and her friends for their unwavering support and love for Lynda. Our deepest appreciation to the staff of Riverside Methodist Hospital and especially to the nursing staff of "4 Orange" who ensured Lynda's comfort and care. The family will receive friends Monday, June 11, 2012, 5-8 p.m. at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, 43212.
