Lena D. Spaulding(Capparuccini), age 82 passed away on Saturday February 14th 2004 surrounded by her family. Born in Columbus, Ohio November 4, 1921. She is preceded in death by her parents Guilio & Michelina Capparuccini and infant sister Dorothy. Survived by children Mike(Donna)Spaulding and Jackie(Gary)Russell, grandchildren Mike, Jr., Ian and Rhonda, great grandchildren Mike lll, Jonathen, Emily and Blake, brothers James "Capp", Tony and Rudy, sisters Sophie, Jane and Mary. Family will receive friends on Tuesday February 17th 2004 at the John Quint & Sons Funeral Home 1177 West Fifth Avenue Columbus Ohio 43212 from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:45 PM Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 PM on Wednesday February 18th 2004 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel(within the St. Joseph Cemetery) 6440 S. High Street Lockbourne Ohio. NO PROCESSION, FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHAPEL. The family wants to extend a heart felt thank you to Lena's extended family at Manor Care Heath Services(Arcadia Unit) of Westerville. Not only did you give Lena love with care you provided, you touched her entire family. We can never express with words the gratitute we feel for the staff, residents and their families. I can't tell you what it means to be me to have had Lena in my life. Days she made me smile when I needed it most. Days when she confirmend why I do what I do. She was a blessing to many people, she wil always be in my heart. You all will stay in my heart forever..
