Obituary

Julia Belle Hamrick(Brown), passed away on September 1, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. A member of Holy Name Parish, Julia was very active in the church until her illness. She served as a Eucharistic minister and on the North High Vicariate. She was also a member of St. Vincent DePaul and the Diocesan Council. She counted money, posted collections, worked bingo and cared for Altar Cloths for many years. Julia was employed by Metro Beverage for over 30 years. While working there she made lifelong friendships, which she treasured dearly. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Floyd Leonard, Sr., and Alfred Kenna Hamrick, I; parents Abraham and Mabel Brown and brother Abe Junior Brown. Survived by her three sons Donald Floyd Leonard(Shelia), Alfred Kenna Hamrick,II(Melissa), Timothy Douglas Hamrick; her brother Harold Brown(Clara), and grandsons Joshua Aaron Leonard(Kathleen) and Bradley Douglas Hamrick. Also, her two nieces Janet Elizabeth Laplaca(Jimmy), Judee Eileen Groff(Chris), nephew Roger Dean Brown(Sally); her six great nephews, Lee Adams, Shane Laplaca, Cameron Groff, David Brown, John Brown, and Michael Brown, sister-in-law Doris Brown, as well as a host of other relatives and close friends especially extended family and support group Floyd and Freda Campbell, Pat and Diane Campbell, Danielle Campbell, Patrick and Misti Campbell and their daughters Morgan, Olivia, and Lauren Campbell. Friends may call TUESDAY, September 5th, 2006 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM and WEDNESDAY, September 6th, at Holy Name Catholic Church, 154 E. Patterson Avenue, Columbus, from 3:00-5:00 PM followed by a Funeral Mass at 5:30 PM, Msgr. James L. Ruef and Rev. Fr. Paul A. Noble, Celebrants. You will be deeply missed by all of the Campbell's. You were like a mother to me even though usually mom and I were right with you at work. You always could make me smile through all the tough stuff and I thank you for all of your wisdom throughout my life.
