Obituary
Our beloved brother Jonathan, age 59, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, May 19. His heart of gold could no longer keep beating, yet his spirit will remain in our hearts forever. Jon is survived by sister Margaret (William) Weimer and brothers Christopher Sanese and Gregory Sanese. He also leaves behind his niece Mary Jane (James Krueger) Sanese and nephews, Christopher Sanese II, Vincent Sanese and Will (Michele) Weimer; and numerous cousins and aunts. Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mary Jane Sanese, and brothers Alfred and David Sanese.
Jonathan will be remembered for his warmth, kindness and generosity. He cherished his family and friends and helped them in any way possible. Jon had a passion for music, cooking and animals of all kinds. He graduated from Bishop Watterson High School in 1984 and pursued a business administration degree from Franklin University. During his working years, Jon served with Sanese Services, the company founded by his late father and uncle; Sanese Medical Corporation, established by his brother Chris; and Citizens Mortgage, founded by brother Greg. Jon also worked as a sous chef for several restaurants including the former Tapatio.
Friends may call on Friday, May 29, from 4-7 p.m. at Quint Treboni Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at St. Timothy Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers you may make donations to St. Timothy Church; Groundwork Ohio, a nonprofit organization advocating for Ohio children and families; or to Citizens for Humane Action (CHA), a Columbus animal shelter. Interment will be held at a later date.

Greg, Chris and Maggie - I fondly recall a young Jon bouncing around the Settler Place house, with his cheerful smile. Clearly he will be missed, but think of the joy in his being reunited with his parents and brother.
