I am deeply saddened to learn of John's passing. He was a great friend of mine at the College of Veterinary Medicine. I am thankful for all his expertise and time devoted to assist me while in my graduate program. Additionally, he served admirably as photographer for two of my children's weddings. We are appreciative for his excellent talent to record these historical moments. My most sincere condolences to all of the family in this time of loss.

On a Saturday in May, 1998, we were honored to have John share his passion for black and white photography with our family. His photographs of our wedding contine to be enjoyed and shall be for years to come.

It was as if a part of our ceremony was taken away upon reading of John's passing. I know that his works in our home will now take on new life and new meaning.

May your family find comfort in knowing that he touched and will continue to touch so many with his work.

Our deepest sympathies.

Dear Mary,

Renee Hart told us of John's passing. We were so sad to hear the news. I'm not sure if you remember me or my husband, Rick. I taught with Renee at Brentnell and we have remained close. Rick photographed Renee and Mitch's wedding. Rick, our daughter Erin, and I met you, John, and the grandkids at several birthday parties. We last spoke, I believe, at Carson's baptism. We knew of John's illness and I prayed, and continue to, for the both of you.

I cannot begin to know of the loss you are feeling, but please remember that you are not alone. Your faith, family and other loved ones will help.

With deepest sympathy,

Brenda and Rick Moore
