Obituary

John Buie Hamilton, 41, passed away unexpectedly in Jacksonville Florida on July 5, 2009. John was a kind, loving and generous man. He touched countless lives with his outgoing personality and ability to bring people together. John lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed golf, boating, travel and socializing with friends and family. His children loved and adored him as he did them. John attended Myers Park High School. John served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corp. John was CEO of Intellecor a professional human capital management company. John was born in Charlotte, NC on January 8, 1968. The son of Jack T. Hamilton, Sr. and Paula Hamilton. Preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Lori A. Hamilton; children Alli and Jack Hamilton; step-children Morgan and Austin Schlosser; sisters Sarah Brown and Susan (Bobby) Boulton; brother Jack T. (Tammy) Hamilton, Jr.; father and mother-in-law Larry and Marilyn Schumick, grandmother Grace Buie, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. Friends may call SUNDAY July 12, 2009 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM on MONDAY July 13, 2009 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 10700 Liberty Road, Powell, Ohio Rev. Fr. Jeffrey E. Tigyer, Presider. Friends are asked to meet at church for his Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 North High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7190 Highway 17 South, Fleming Island, Florida 32003. Date and time of Mass to be announced. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in John's memory to the Hamilton Children's Education Fund at any National City Bank branch. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com

Words can not express the feelings I had toward John. Though I only knew him a short time he was my friend. A man who loved his family and spoke warmly of everyone of you. I remember the first time I am meet Lori and John. They were new parents of a Preschooler at St. Brigid. John teased Cheryl and I about his daughter who would be in our class. He told us she was very excited about going to school and that we would love her. He was right. Alli was a joy to have in our class. We are excited to have Jack in our class this coming fall. I promise you Lori that Cheryl and I will embrace jack and make him happy during this incredible time of sadness for him and your family. Alli loved and adored her Dad. She made many pictures for her Dad while she was in our class. He was a great Dad to all of his chldren. My heart goes out to all of you.

Lori, we just want you to know that we are praying for you and the kids. The first time we met John, Steve was trying to shovel the driveway after a massive snowstorm. John drove by and came right back with his snow blower! He worked side by side with Steve for several hours until we could get our car out of the garage. What a loving and generous person! He will be missed by our whole neighborhood.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing, he was one of my favorite customers at the tanning salon! It was such a shock to hear of his passing, but Praise the Lord that he was a christian and he is guaranteed a spot next to the Good Lord's side. John had many conversations with myself and my fellow co-workers about his faith and family.
