Obituary

John D. Falco, age 67, passed away on February 12, 2024. John was a Grandview boy most of his life and made many friends and acquaintances throughout his time. A lifelong mechanic, John worked for General Motors, BP and eventually started his own business, Auto Doctor of Columbus on Goodale Blvd. which he ran for over 20 years. Many of his loyal customers have become lifelong friends. His love for work, vintage cars, racing and his pets kept him happy throughout his life. He is survived by his son, Jonathan Boyd; sisters, Carolyn (Jim) Schwochow, and Ann Falco (Coffman); brother, Tom (Beth) Falco; nephews, Tony Falco and Randy Coffman; and nieces, Amber Priestas (Coffman) and Barbara Muldrew (Schwochow). John was preceded in death by his longtime girlfriend Deborah Harding; parents, Lucien Falco and Norma Falco; nephews, Jay Schwochow and Chad Falco. There will be no formal service, but a celebration of life will be held in the near future. Please contact John’s son for further info.
