Obituary
John Edward Dean of Columbus, Ohio passed away suddenly in his home on February 5, 2025. He was born on June 19, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio. John worked for Giant Eagle Market District for ten years. Before that he worked for Domino's Pizza as a manager for many years. He graduated from Upper Arlington High School, Columbus, Ohio in 1973. He attended Bowling Green State University. Family meant everything to John. He was a dedicated caregiver, making it possible for our mother to stay in our family home and our sister to stay in her home in Chicago. John enjoyed traveling, but most of all he enjoyed spending time at home with his wife and their cats Charlie and Chester. John was proceeded in death by his parents Frederic H. Dean and Frances E. (Gillian) Dean of Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Susan Dean (nee Zink); sisters, Elizabeth (Ed) Kaiser, and Virginia (Craig) Ryland of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Frederic H. (Lydia) Dean Jr. of Vidalia, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Jean Zink and Jan (Dave) Pohlman; and brother-in-law, John (Kim) Zink along with many other nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a visitation at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W. 5th Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43212 on Tuesday February 18, 2025 from 3-5 pm. I worked with John throughout his 10 yrs of service at Giant Eagle Market District. He always was a hard worker and had a wonderful smile on his face. I will miss him tremendously. Rest peacefully John🙏
