Obituary
John J. Cavanaugh, age 84, Friday, March 19, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. He retired from the Jess Howard Electric Company and proudly served in the US Navy during World War II. John graduated from Holy Rosary High School, Franklin University and was a life member of NAUS OH15A. John was a longtime resident of Grandview Heights and a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Cornelia Cavanaugh, brother Thomas and sisters Cornelia Cavanaugh and Joan (Kenny) Schwartz. John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret, sisters Dorothy Wynn and Patricia (Johnny) Williams, sons, Thomas, Kevin, Timothy and Brian, grandchildren Kelsy and Brady Cavanaugh, cousins Paul (Mary Lou) Glauder, John Edward (Ann) Hohmann M.D. and 23 nieces and nephews. Arrangements entrusted to the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM on SATURDAY, March 27, 2010 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1420 Grandview Avenue, Rev. Msgr. Hey Cousins!
So sorry to hear of Uncle Jack's passing. I remember Uncle Jack as a man that was light hearted and so funny. Life of the party. He will be missed. We know how it feels to lose your dad. Your life will be forever changed.Take care of your mom. She needs you know even more.
