Dave,
We only just today learned of Joanne's passing. I'm so stunned at the news. I knew she was worried about her surgery last year. If we can be of any help, please let me know. I hate that covid and age stopped our weekly knitting excursions. Again, our sympathies. She'll be missed more than you can imagine.

Hi David. I just learned of Joanne's passing yesterday and wanted to reach out to you to say how sorry I was to hear this. I worked with Joanne at Manulife for a good number of years and she was always a delight...her smile and humour infectious. I also kept in touch with her on Facebook and we shared an email or two with recipes. She was a wonderful person and spoke so highly of you. May your memories of Joanne bring you comfort and peace as you grieve this loss. Warmly, Kelli Kuzyk

Hello David. I, too, just heard of Joanne's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss, and for not being aware sooner. I worked at Manulife for over a quarter-century and several of those were with Joanne (and Kelli Kuzyk) in Group Underwriting. Joanne always helped me (and many others) stay organized, yet she also had a twinkle in her eye for some fun and mischief. After she moved to Ohio, we reconnected through Facebook where we realized we shared involvement with Unitarian Universalism. Joanne also corresponded with me by text and email when she encountered a problem with her Canada Pension Plan benefit payments not being deposited properly to her US bank account.
Joanne could bring happiness to anyone, but it was obvious that you were the person who brought the most happiness to her. I'm sure you will continue holding many fond memories of Joanne in your heart as comfort. With my deepest condolences, Ian Kent.
