Obituary

James Michael "Mike" Haman age 79 of Columbus, Ohio passed away in his home surrounded by his family on March 1, 2026. Mike was born on November 6, 1946, to James C. and Irene (Baird) Haman in Omaha, Nebraska. He lived his formative years in Nebraska and moved to Columbus, Ohio when he was 16 years old. After high school Mike joined and served in the Navy for 4 years. Mike had several hobbies, but woodworking was his passion and he loved that the most. He is predeceased by his parents, James C. Haman and Irene (Baird) Haman; and sister, Diana Stocklin. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Norma L. (Baird) Haman; sister, Marilyn Milbrodt who lives in Iowa; and niece, Lisa (Leon) French from Omaha Nebraska; and grandnieces, Alysa and Katy Jones; nephew, Scott Stocklin from San Diego, California; and grandniece, Alex Stocklin of Phoenix, Arizona. There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home 1177 W. 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212 from 4-6 pm. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, March 6, 2026, at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad Street Galloway, Ohio 43119 starting promptly at 10 am with a Navy Military Honors.
