Obituary

James Joseph Glaze Sr. passed away on September 15, 2023 at the Violet Springs Heath Campus in Pickerington, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley Ann (Colombini) Glaze; parents, Donald A. and Dorothea (Welsh) Glaze; and siblings, Mary Karen Weeks, Donald "Corky" Glass, Leona Higham, and Jeanne Ludlum. James is survived by children, Vicki (Timothy) Scott, James Glaze II, and Michael Glaze; grandchildren, Shauna Scott, Joseph (Michelle) Scott, James (Julia) Glaze III, and Dakota (Brennan) Moore; great-granddaughters, Alexis Grace and Evelyn Jade; along with many other cousins, nephews and nieces. The family will have a visitation on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212 from 4-7 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow a Freemason presentation the next morning, Friday, September 22 starting at 10 am. A procession will follow for a Graveside Service at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137. The family will be having a luncheon immediately following the burial at the TAT Ristorante Di Famiglia, 1210 S. James Road, Columbus, Ohio 43227.
