Obituary
Jacqueline A. "Jackie" DiPietro, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. She was born November 15, 1922 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Casto and Agnes (Francisco) Pomante. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. DiPietro and her son, Father Rodric J. DiPietro. She is survived by her son, Fred (Vickie) DiPietro of New Port Richey, FL and her daughter, Julie (Ezio) Cecchetti of Gahanna; grandchildren, Fred J. (Linda) DiPietro, FL, Kellie (John) Patton, FL, John (Kelly) McKown II, CA, Adam (Kim) McKown, FL, Joe (Stephanie) DiPietro, VA, Andres (Samary) Cecchetti, Gahanna and Ricardo (Christina) Cecchetti, South Bloomfield; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many dear cousins and friends. A devout member of St. Elizabeth Parish, her family will receive friends at St. Elizabeth (6077 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus 43229) on Sunday, July 31, 2016, from 3-6 p.m., where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, August 1, 2016. Fr. Charles Cotton, Presider. Burial to follow, Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred either to St. Elizabeth Parish or to Columbus Coalition for the Homeless, 1015 E Main St, Columbus (43205). Sorry we didn't hear about the loss of Jackie in time to come to the services...Many thoughts & prayers to you during this difficult time. Mom (Ruthie Kulina) also at Resurrection, will try to locate Jackie there to pay our respects. What great neighbors, Jackie, Fred, Rod and yourselves always will be a part of the Fowler Drive neighborhood. At least theyre together now with Mom keeping an eye on everyone. Take care & God Bless
