Gloria Marie Gallucci Woods, age 94, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on February 26, 2025. Gloria was born on April 25,1930 in Columbus, Ohio. Gloria will be deeply missed by her children, John (Ann) Woods Jr., Evonne (Don) Evans, Theresa (Harry) McNamee, Paula (Richard) Fox, Michael (Susan) Woods; grandsons, Zachary (Leesa) and Andrew Evans; granddaughters, Dawn (Jason) Ellerbush, Ericka (Shayne) Yokum, Blair (George Uhrina) Brown, Brittany (Ryan) Hannigan, Maria (Beau) Terry, Murphy (Austin) Drewyor, Caroline (Evan) Lisle, and Olivia (Michael) Mayers; great-grandchildren, Shayne II and Landon Yokum, Tyson and Mychal Evans, Khloey and Myah Ellerbush, Kire Kientz, Braxton and Layla Uhrina, Myles, Brooks and Ayla Hannigan, Drayke, Drue and Donovin Terry, Oren and baby Drewyor, Maverick Mayers, Evan Lisle Jr., and many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fedele and Mary (Anderson) Gallucci; husband, John Woods; sister, Adeline Butler; brothers, John, Mike, James, Leonard, Paul, Salvatore, Carl, and Joe Gallucci. She was the baby of 10 children. Gloria was a devout Catholic, strong willed, generous, loving and was proud of her Italian heritage. She liked to read, sew, and keep up on politics. Her smile was our sunshine. She had immense passion for her family and often talked about her years growing up. Her extreme fondness of her siblings led to many conversations about her "ornery brothers" with laughter and smiles. She treasured the many years of vacations to the Outer Banks, beach and pool times, bocce ball, cornhole, games, cards, chaos, white elephants, family themed dinners and of course the laughs and happiness as she watched everyone interact as our family grew bigger each year. Gloria's most precious gift in life were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In her words "they are perfect" (we are not.) She enjoyed teasing her sons-in-law about which one was her favorite (all of them of course). A special thank you to her neighbors Al, Terri, and AJ Wheeler for your kindness, mowing, and watchful eye. Dr. Heather Hines and staff, she adored you. Brookdale Senior living for your care and smiling faces. To the "Outlaws" Don, Ann, Mac, Richie, and Susan, thank you for loving and caring for our parents as much as we do. To our precious children you are our gifts from God. Thank you for showing your grandma "gg" true love! In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Gloria's memory may donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Holy Family Soup Pantry. A visitation will be held at John Quint Treboni Funeral Home,1177 W. 5th Ave Columbus, Ohio 43212, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 10 m - 12pm with a service following at 12 pm. Gloria will be buried with her beloved family at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, OH 43137. The family will be hosting a luncheon following the service at Twin Run Farm, 11079 Coontz Rd, Orient, Ohio 43146.
