Obituary
Giuseppina "Pina" DiRienzo, age 70 of Columbus, a loving, devoted mother and nonna passed away peacefully at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 with her loving family by her side. Pina was born in Trasacco, Italy on March 19, 1938 to Cesidio and Assenza Presutti. She retired from the Berwick Manor and was a member of St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church and the S.F.I Women's Auxiliary. Pina will be remembered for her unfailing wisdom, compassion, sense of humor, strength of character and her love of cooking. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years Vincent DiRienzo, parents Cesidio and Assenza Presutti, brother Loreto Presutti, sister-in-law Olimpia DiRienzo, mother and father-in-law Yolanda and Urgente DiRienzo. Leaving behind to cherish her memory is her daughter and son-in-law Yolanda and Ric Diedalis of Westerville, her son Eugene DiRienzo of Columbus and her 3 precious grandsons Ric and Chris Diedalis and Mario DiRienzo, sisters Cicetta Retico of Trasacco, Italy, Suora Maria Cesidia Presutti of Sulmona, Italy, brother and sister-in-law Antonio and Romanina Presutti of Trasacco, Italy, sister and brother-in-law Assunta and Remo DiPasquale of Avezzano, Italy, brother and sister-in-law Cosimo and Dora Presutti of Trasacco, Italy, sisters-in-law Ilva DiRienzo of Hollywood, Florida, Concettina DiRienzo of Trassaco, Italy, Elia Ventresca of Columbus, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Annetta and Gaetano DiPasquale of Galena, Bambina and Giovanni Ventresca of Westerville and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends and neighbors. The family also expresses it's deepest gratitude to Dr. Janet Bay, the NICU nursing staff, the staff of seven north, and Palliative Care Team. God Bless all of you. Friends may call FRIDAY, December 19, 2008 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 3:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on SATURDAY, December 20, 2008 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road, Msgr. Romano Ciotola, Presider. Entombment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum, 9571 North High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.

So sorry to hear about the loss of such a special lady. I choose to believe that maybe she is fixing white pizza for Vincenzo, Frank and Flora. It is so hard to loose both parents but, hopefully you can have some peace knowing that she and your dad are spending Christmas together. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Becky
