Obituary

Fred F. Zugaro, age 77, died Friday, March 19, 2010 at home, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. A graduate of Central High School, Class of 1950. Fred retired from Battelle Memorial Institute after 40 enjoyable years. He was a founding family member of St. Timothy Catholic Church. Fred proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by parents Carlo & Cora Zugaro, brother Anthony (Alice) Zugaro. Survived by loving wife Rose (Vittorio) of 55 years, sons Fred (Holly) Zugaro, Timothy Zugaro and daughter Alisa (Martin) Savko. Fred leaves behind four grandchildren, who he adored, Marty Savko Jr., Carole, Catherine, Andrew "A.J." Zugaro, nephew, John (Cindy) Zugaro, niece Janet (Don) Summers, aunt Josephine Iacovetta and many great nieces, great nephews, cousins and dear friends. Friends may call SUNDAY, March 21, 2010 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:45 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM on MONDAY, March 22, 2010 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane, Rev. Fr. Timothy Hayes, Presider. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio.
