I just received word earlier today of his passing and am sad yet grateful for the end of his long struggle. Of course we had some fun times together as kids getting together, but going to the 'shop with a Spanish style' was a right of passage for me. Of course he gave me my first haircut, and after going to Pat on the west side, later back to him after moving to Hilliard in '75. He advocated me keeping my hair long in those days as I desired, even though dad didn't like it:). I figured if it was good enough for Donny it was good enough for me!
I am sorry that I cannot make the funeral home or the Mass on Thurs due to work commitments. Be assured of my prayers as we turn to the Lord for consolation & hope. God Bless-
Steve
