Frances Mary Walker, age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 13, 2025. Frances was born on December 16, 1929 in Ballina Ireland (County Mayo). She came to Columbus Ohio in 1957 with her older sister Bridie. Frances and Bridie found work together at the Lazarus Department Stores Accounting Department. They both found love and raised families in Columbus. Bridie and Frances always lived nearby each other. Frances and Bridie always kept their connection with their family in Ireland. They are two of seven sisters and one brother. She lived her life for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Ryan and Annie (MacHale) Ryan; Husband of 61 years, Wesley Walker; brother, James Ryan; and sisters, Bridie, Vera, Peggy, Rose, Kathleen, and Freeda. She is survived by her Daughter, Susan Walker; sons, Brian (Lizz) and Stephen; grandchildren, Patrick, Ali, and Stephanie; Great-grandchild, JJ,; niece, Sheila Lyons and nephew, Mike Lyones. There will be a Funeral Mass at the Chapel inside Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N. High Street Lewis Center, Ohio 43035 on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 12 noon.
