Obituary

Frances (Colaprete) Fudoli, age 97, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2024. She was born on August 20, 1926, to parents Olindo and Lucy (Schiavone) Colaprete. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 70 years, Anthony R. Fudoli. Frances was born in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from Grandview Heights High School. She was married to Anthony in 1948 and has two children, Michael (Angela) who reside in Tampa, Florida, and Olinda (Kevin) Hissrich, who reside in Hilliard, Ohio; one grandson, Tyler Hissrich; sister, Martha; and Brother-in-law, Vito Checchio; sister-in-law, Ann (Tom) (Albanese) Brennen; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Frances was a homemaker until her children were older and in high school. She then worked for Lazarus Kingsdale in the General Office for 20 years. She belonged to Iota Tau Sigma Sorority for 35 years in which she enjoyed the friendships of her sorority sisters and longtime friends. She enjoyed cooking and baking and loved hosting special dinners and parties for her beloved family and friends. The family will host a visitation on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212 from 4-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road, Columbus, Ohio 43212 at 11 am followed by a procession to St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137.
