Obituary
Elda Jane Poletti, age 86, passed away on Monday April 11, 2011 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. A graduate of Grandview High School and was a member of the Alumni. Elda was also a member of Amici D'Oro, Charter Member of Christ Child Society, Sibylla, Friends and Board of Friends of The Josephium. She is preceded in death by parents Salvatore and Clotilde(Orsini) Cocciadiferro, brothers Anthony and Geno DeFerro, sister Lydia DiVito and husband Thomas E. Poletti. Survived by her sons Paul (Debbie) Poletti, Delafield, WI, Philip (Mary) Poletti Kenosha, WI and Patrick (Francesca Ryan) Poletti, London, England, grandchildren; Jonathan, Anna, Joseph, Michael and Laura, sister Sylvia (Kenneth) Heintzelman, Yorktown, VA, and sister-in-law Norma DeFerro. Friends may call THURSDAY April 14, 2011 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:45 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM on FRIDAY April 15 at St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church, Ohio Rev. Fr. William A. Metzger, Presider. Entombment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of Elda to: the Christ Child Society of Columbus, P.O. Words alone cannot express the sadness I feel at the loss of your mother. I first met your mom over 26 years ago at St. Peter's Single Group and we became good friends. She was a wonderful person who touched the lives of so many people and she will be dearly missed.
